This isnt the “The Music Man,” the quaint American story where we could all gently laugh at the out-of-towner who created a problem to make a mint – Trump’s America is as destructive as it gets because America’s position in the world depends not on our economy but on us actually being seen as a beacon on a hill – although it is has been proven that immigrants add a great deal to our economy – they help make us all wealthy. But the malignant narcissist’s (i.e.Trump’s) will must prevail over the common good.
